第14回CS講演会 5月13日(火)開催（オンライン）
オーストラリアで誕生した高齢男性向けの居場所である「メンズ・シェッド」はこの30年あまりで多くの国に広まっています。JST-RISTEX「シチズンサポートプロジェクトによる社会的孤立・孤独の一次予防（通称：伊藤PJ）」では、2022年よりシェッドを日本で運営し、その効果を検証するプロジェクトを進めて参りました。この度、愛知県新城市にて「新城メンズ・シェッド」を運営されているNPO法人しんしろドリーム荘代表の山本拓哉先生にご講演いただけることとなりました。

We are pleased to host the 4th International Seminar featuring Dr.Melinda Heinz.
Melinda will share her research on Irish Men’s Sheds that she conducted as a Fulbright Scholar.She visited 14 different sheds and conducted 37 interviews with shed members to learn more about why older men participated in Men’s Sheds and why they remain actively engaged in them. Upon returning to the U.S., she and a colleague created a documentary to help share the stories of Irish shed members. The documentary was selected for inclusion in the Catalyst International Film Festival in Limerick, Ireland. She will share her research on Irish Men’s
Sheds and discuss her work with U.S. Men’s Sheds, including how she started the first Men’s Shed in Iowa.

We are pleased to host the 3rd International Seminar featuring Dr.Bryony Porter. Dr. Porter’s postdoctoral research investigated mental health and wellbeing of health and social care staff and the role of community organisations in supporting wellbeing and mental health. Dr Porter is passionate about effective engagement, involvement and participation of communities in research and is currently the Applied (ARC) East of England (EoE) Public and Community Involvement, Engagement and Participation (PCIEP) Lead.

We are pleased to host the 2nd International Seminar featuring Professor Barry Golding from Federation University Australia. Professor Golding is a world-renowned authority on men's shed research and has supported shed operations across various countries. In this seminar, he will provide an overview of the fundamentals of sheds and the current state of their development. The deadline for registration is noon on November 1st.

「作業療法や作業科学の分野では、社会やコミュニティの構造がどのように私たちの健康や作業に影響を与えるかについて、長年にわたり多くの議論が交わされてきました。しかし、具体的に我々が孤独や孤立の問題においてどのように社会に貢献できるかの模索は始まったばかりです。このシンポジウムでは、多様なアイデンティティと社会的課題が交差する現代において、これらの問題がもたらす影響に焦点を当て、新たな包摂的なアプローチを提案します。
私たち、高齢者の孤独・孤立問題に取り組む髙島と、精神障害者の孤独・孤立問題に取り組む星野は、科学的根拠を基に、作業療法と作業科学が社会的公正と包摂をどのように推進できるかを模索する場を設けました。
このシンポジウムでは、5カ国から16名の専門家がスピーカーとして参加します。学術の枠を超えて、実践者、行政等の関係機関、そして一般市民と協働し、より公正で健康的な社会の構築に向けた具体的な方法を共に考える機会を提供します。皆さまの参加が、この重要な議論に新たな視点をもたらし、理解を深める一助となることを心より期待しています。」
